The journal SRSD does not request any fees.
The open access policy is free of charge and the publication costs are covered by the Publishing House of the University of Economics in Katowice
- FREQUENCY
The journal SRSD publishes one issue per year, in electronic version.
- PEER REVIEW PROCESS
The journal “Studies in Risk and Sustainable Development” (SRSD) operates in a double blind peer review model. Articles submitted to the journal are subject of initial assessment by the Editor-in-Chief, to revise their suitability and compatibility to the SRSD’s aim and scope. Manuscripts considered as suitable are further submitted to minimum two reviewers, independent of the authors (not affiliated with the same institution). The independent reviewers are appointed by the Editor-in-Chief, after the consultation with Editorial Board members. Reviewers are requested to maintain the quality of the review process, in line with the Reviewers’ guidelines. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final acceptance or rejection of the submitted manuscript and the decision is final.
- ALLEGATIONS AND MISCONDUCT
In the event of any allegation or misconduct, the publisher and the editor of the “Studies in Risk and Sustainable Development” will adhere to the SRSD’s Ethics policy, that fully aligns with the following guidelines: COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics), PERK (Publishing Ethics Resource Kit), and the good practices in review procedures issued by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
